YOUR QUESTIONS-Blog

Your bathroom starts with a dream....YOURS. We will spend the time to understand exactly what you want in a bathroom, and then bring it to life with our talented craftsmen. Our custom bathroom remodel projects bring all of your ideas and details together to create a space that fits both your needs, and your budget.

When it comes to custom tile work in your bathroom, we are very picky. Depending on the job type, we can do your tile the old fashioned way over mortar and wire lathe, or with newer cement board type methods. Either way, you can be sure your tile work will be flat, straight, and installed to last.

And just to make sure on every bathroom project, we also add an extra layer of waterproofing membrane before we tile. That is your double assurance of a long lasting job that will be trouble free for years to come.

The photos to the right are a start to finish tub and tile replacement job. This is a very common renovation project.

The work involves removing the old tub and tile.

Installing the new tub and valve/spigot.

Installing a waterproof shield on the stud walls.

Another Project.

On this job, we completely removed all of the bathroom fixtures and the tub. The homeowner wanted a walk-in shower to replace the tub.

This is another common type of bath renovation that we do.
Here is the mortar tile base of the shower, with a water proofing coating applied.
Here it is tiled!
Lastly, the glass door is added.

Another tile shower project.

This shower was custom built for our customer. Tiles were purchased from a local tile shop. The Body Spray fixture was by Moen. Our dedicated crew completed the shower in one week! The shower door was installed at a later date.

This project included the removal of a spa tub and the design and construction of the custom tile shower below. The steps in this project were:

1.) The demolition of the old spa tub.

2.) The relocation of the drain for the new shower.

3.) Repair of wood rotted framing members behind the wall of the old shower space.

4.) The installation of the new shower valve and body spray.

5.) The design and installation of the shower pan and walls.
6.) The installation of the tile, seat, and tile boarders.
7.) Sealing the glass block window.
